BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — A civil lawsuit has been filed in Palm Beach County alleging negligence at a Boca Raton medical property tied to an injury incident.
According to court records, Joseph Gliatta v. AW Boca Clinic, LLC, Case No. 502026CA005015XXXAMB, was filed May 4, 2026, in the Circuit Court of the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit in and for Palm Beach County, Florida. The complaint names AW Boca Clinic, LLC as the defendant and was filed by attorneys with Rubenstein Law, P.A.
The plaintiff, Joseph Gliatta, alleges he was injured on April 21, 2025, while lawfully on the premises of the clinic located at 1601 Clint Moore Road in Boca Raton. The complaint states Gliatta was a business invitee at the time of the incident.
According to the complaint, Gliatta claims he fell due to a hazardous condition involving the flooring or ground surface in the parking lot, curb, or sidewalk threshold area. The filing alleges that a substance or material created a dangerous condition that caused him to fall and sustain injuries.
The lawsuit asserts that AW Boca Clinic, LLC owned, managed, controlled, operated, or maintained the property and owed a duty to provide a reasonably safe environment for individuals on the premises. The plaintiff claims the defendant breached that duty by failing to correct or address the hazardous condition.
Specifically, the complaint alleges the defendant failed to fix or remove the hazard, failed to warn of the condition, and failed to place barricades or warning signs. It further claims the defendant did not take reasonable steps to secure or remedy the condition prior to the incident.
The filing also alleges the condition existed long enough that the business either knew or should have known about it, or that it occurred with sufficient regularity to be considered foreseeable.
As a result of the alleged fall, Gliatta claims he suffered bodily injury, pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, and other losses, including medical expenses and diminished quality of life. The complaint states some of these injuries may be permanent or ongoing.
The plaintiff is seeking damages in excess of $75,000, along with costs and other relief deemed appropriate by the court. The filing also includes a demand for a jury trial.
The allegations outlined in the complaint are claims made by the plaintiff and have not been proven in court.
