BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — A large law enforcement presence was reported Monday near the intersection of U.S. 441 and SW 3rd Street in the Sandalfoot area, where deputies had a northbound lane closed while detectives investigated a canal scene.
The activity was centered near the roadway and canal at the intersection. Deputies were on scene, and traffic was being restricted in the northbound lane as the investigation continued.
Detectives were investigating what appeared to be a body found in the canal. The person appeared to be a white male wearing black shorts and a blue shirt.
