BOCA RATON, FL — Boca Raton Police are investigating a shooting that left two adults injured outside The Standard Cuisine & Cocktails at 187 SE Mizner Boulevard early Monday, May 25, 2026.
According to Boca Raton Police, the shooting happened just after 12:30 a.m. outside the downtown Boca Raton restaurant and cocktail bar. Police said two adult victims sustained gunshot wounds and were taken to a local hospital.
The suspect fled the scene, according to the department. Boca Raton Police detectives are working to identify that individual.
The department said the events leading up to the shooting remain under investigation.
Boca Raton Police sent an alert at 1:08 a.m. asking the public to avoid the area of 187 SE Mizner Boulevard because of police activity. A follow-up alert sent at 4:59 a.m. said the police activity in the area had cleared.
The location is along SE Mizner Boulevard in downtown Boca Raton, near a cluster of restaurants, offices and nightlife destinations. Police did not release the names of the victims, their conditions, or a suspect description in the information provided.
