Boca Raton’s Mark Rudow Passed Away After an Accident

BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) — A man on a bicycle was struck by a truck while riding in the bicycle lane near Federal Highway and Palmetto Park Road in Boca Raton on Friday.

The bicyclist has been identified as 66-year-old Mark Rudow of Boca Raton.

According to the Boca Raton Police Department, on Friday, March 03, 2023, at 08:10 A.M., officers of the Boca Raton Police investigated a fatal crash that occurred in the intersection of N Federal Hwy and E Palmetto Park Rd.

Police say that the driver of a 2015 Dodge pick-up truck was traveling northbound on N Federal Hwy. Upon making a right-hand turn to travel east on E Palmetto Park Rd, the pickup struck Rudow who was traveling north on N Federal Hwy in the bicycle lane. Rudow was transported to Delray Medical Center in critical condition where he was later pronounced deceased.
