DEERFIELD BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — An active Broward Sheriff’s Office investigation is underway early this morning in Deerfield Beach.

According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, deputies are investigating an incident in the area of Lakeside Way and Lakeside Drive. Authorities say there is no threat to the community.

BSO’s Public Information Office confirmed that a media staging area has been established at 3001 Deer Creek Country Club Boulevard. A Public Information Officer is expected to arrive on scene at approximately 7:00 a.m. to gather and release additional details.

The investigation remains active, and information is limited at this time.
