Daniel Jamie Pulley III, 23, was booked into custody early Saturday morning after what witnesses described as a coordinated law enforcement takedown near Palmetto Park Road and I-95. Preliminary booking records show Pulley faces eight separate charges stemming from the incident, including grand theft of a motor vehicle and felony fleeing and eluding police involving injury or death.
The arrest unfolded in a busy commercial area just off the highway, drawing a visible response from state troopers and local police. Social media posts from the scene described officers converging on the restaurant’s parking lot while staff and customers were directed to shelter inside as the arrest was carried out.
According to a statement posted by Tomasso’s Pizza and Subs on Facebook during the incident, law enforcement arrested a suspect they believed had been tracked in a stolen vehicle and taken into custody in the parking lot.
