Boca Raton’S Jacqueline Fumero Arrested For 4Th Dui

BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) — A Boca Raton woman is in jail this morning following her arrest for her 4th DUI in 10 years according to jail records released to Boca Post by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

Jacqueline Fumero, 58, of Arriba Real in Glades of Boca Lago, has been arrested Friday evening by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

Fumero was pulled over near Powerline Road and Palmetto Circle at about 4:30 PM on Friday afternoon. Fumero should not have been driving as her license was previously suspended/revoked following previous DUI charges.

On May 20th, 2022, at approximately 4:00 PM, deputies responded to a call about a woman passed out at the wheel of a white Honda Accord at Powerline Road and Palmetto Circle in unincorporated Boca Raton. The following statement was provided by the PBSO deputy who found Fumero passed out behind the wheel:

I responded to the intersection of Powerline Rd and Palmetto Circle North in unincorporated Boca Raton, Palm Beach County in reference to a call of a person unresponsive behind the wheel of a white Honda Accord. Upon arrival at the above location, | noticed a white female unresponsive in the driver’s seat behind the wheel of the vehicle.

After several attempts at awakening the white female, she finally unlocked the vehicle’s doors. The white female presented me with a Florida Driver’s license that identified her as Jaqueline Fumero DOB 8/24/1963. After running her driver’s license, it was discovered that her driver’s license was suspended. Fumero’s was restricted for Business Purposes Only and thé driver’s license was canceled indefinitely for failure to remain under a supervised DUI Schedule and substance abuse on 10/25/2021.

Based upon the above information and the fact that Fumero was not in transport to or from work, she is charged with.‘driving with the knowledge that her license is currently suspended while operating a motor vehicle.

Fumero had a warrant out for her arrest following a DUI in September of 2021. According to an arrest affidavit from that incident, PBSO and Palm Beach County Fire Rescue found her unconscious on the steering wheel of her BMW while parked partially on the median at Lyons Road and SW 14th Street in unincorporated Boca Raton. A blood draw was performed at the hospital where they found Fumero under the influence with a .49 BAC. That is more than 6 times the legal limit of .08 BAC. Fumero told deputies she had absolutely no recollection of driving her vehicle that afternoon.

As a habitual offender, Fumero can now be facing up to 5 years in prison where she won’t be able to drink or drive.

According to Jacqueline Fumero’s social media accounts, she works for The Watershed Addicition Treatment Programs Inc, a drug an alcohol addiction treatment conmpany based in Delray Beach. The Watershed will not return requests for comment by Boca Post.

The Watershed is described as an “Alcoholism detox center and drug inpatient rehabilitation addiction treatment program that offers drug rehab and alcohol abuse and medical detoxification programs that treats patients nationwide in our local Palm Beach County, Florida (FL) and Houston, Texas (TX) alcohol and drug rehab facilities.

Jacqueline Fumero also held a real estate sales associate which is now in a involuntary inactive status.

Fumero was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail at 6:18 on Friday evening. Fumero was released 2 days later on a $22,500 bond. According to the PBSO jail, Fumero is currently facing the following new charges:

  • DUI-UNLAW BLD ALCH – DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 4TH OR SUBSQ OFF
  • MOVING TRAFFIC VIOL – DWLSR REVOCATION EQUIV STATUS 3RD SUB VIOL
