FDLE Issues Silver Alert for Missing Citrus County Man

FDLE has issued a Florida Silver Alert for an 80-year-old man last known to be in Citrus Springs in Citrus County.

FLORIDA — A Florida Silver Alert has been issued for an 80-year-old man reported missing from Citrus Springs in Citrus County, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

FDLE identified the missing person as Albert Leblanc. He is described as a white male, 80 years old, with white hair and brown eyes. FDLE lists him as 5 feet, 7 inches tall and about 140 pounds.

The last known area provided in the alert is Citrus Springs, in Citrus County.

Silver Alerts are used to help locate missing older adults. The alert pushes identifying information out quickly so residents, businesses, and law enforcement across Florida can be on the lookout.

Authority for the investigation and response sits with local law enforcement. FDLE’s notice directs anyone with information to contact the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office.

Anyone who has information about Leblanc’s whereabouts is asked to call the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office at 352-726-1121 or call 911.
