BROWARD COUNTY, FL — BSO detectives are asking the public for help locating a missing 36-year-old man who was last seen in Dania Beach.
Broward Sheriff’s Office said detectives are looking for Andrew Higgs, 36. Detectives said he was last seen around 7 a.m. Saturday, June 27, in the 700 block of Southwest Sixth Street in Dania Beach.
Detectives described Higgs as 6 feet, 1 inches tall and about 200 pounds, with black hair and black eyes. He was last seen wearing a long sleeve red shirt, khaki pants, and blue and white shoes.
According to Higgs’ family, he experiences mental illness.
BSO is the agency handling the case and is asking anyone who has information about Higgs’ whereabouts to contact BSO Detective Leonard Charla at 954-321-4274. Tips can also be made through the BSO non-emergency number at 954-764-HELP (4357).
Residents in Boca Raton and across Palm Beach County who travel through Broward County, or who may have been in the Dania Beach area Saturday morning, should watch for someone matching the description and clothing. Anyone who believes they have information is asked to call BSO using the numbers provided.
