BOCA RATON, FL — The fireworks are free. The parking and the traffic are the parts that need a plan.
South Florida cities are lining up back-to-back Independence Day shows on Saturday, July 4, 2026, and this year most are tied to America 250, the country's semiquincentennial. That means bigger crowds, extra programming and, in several cases, road closures that start hours before the first bang.
Here is where to watch fireworks and drone shows across Palm Beach and Broward counties, based on materials issued by each city and event host.

A note on fireworks safety, HOA rules and pets
Florida law generally allows consumer fireworks on July 4, but sale, storage, HOA restrictions and local enforcement authority still apply across South Florida. Pet owners are also being reminded to prepare their animals for loud, sustained noise.
Weather could still adjust some of these plans. Most cities have reserved the right to move or postpone fireworks based on conditions on the day. Check each host's social channels or website before heading out.
