BOCA RATON, FL — A teacher at Saint Andrew’s School in Boca Raton has been arrested on federal child sexual abuse material charges, according to a message the school sent to families Friday morning.
Patrick Conor Russell, whose name appears in Broward County jail records as Patrick Conor Russell, was arrested May 28, 2026, according to the booking information reviewed by Boca Post. The jail record lists the arresting agency as the Marshals Service and shows Russell being held at the Broward County Main Jail.
Saint Andrew’s School told parents that it was notified by the FBI on Thursday, May 28, that Russell had been arrested at his off-campus personal residence on charges of receipt, possession and distribution of child pornography.
The jail record lists the charge comment as “poss child pornography” and describes the case as a “hold for US Marshals Office.” The record shows no bond listed and a charge status of pending trial.
In the message sent to the Saint Andrew’s School community, the school said Russell’s employment had been terminated.
“We have terminated Mr. Russell’s employment, and he is not permitted to return to campus, access any school equipment or property, attend any school events, or interact with any students or employees,” the school wrote.
The school also said it would continue cooperating with law enforcement during the investigation.
“As of right now, we are sharing with you what we know,” the school wrote. “If and when we receive additional information that we are able to share with the community, we will certainly do so.”
The provided school statement does not identify any alleged victims. Boca Post is not naming or publishing identifying information about any juvenile or protected victims.
The case remains pending, according to the jail record. Attorney information and additional federal court details were not available in the records provided to Boca Post at the time of this report.
The charges are allegations, and Russell is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
