DEERFIELD BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives are searching for an 80-year-old man reported missing and are asking the public to help locate him.

BSO identified the missing man as Otis Drummer, 80.
Detectives said Drummer was last seen around 4 p.m. Monday, May 18, in the 200 block of Southwest Fourth Street in Deerfield Beach.
Drummer is described as 5 feet, 10 inches tall and about 165 pounds, with grey hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a grey and white long-sleeved shirt and blue jeans.
According to his family, Drummer suffers from dementia.
The search and investigation are being handled by BSO detectives. Anyone with information on Drummer’s whereabouts is asked to contact BSO Detective Chris Blankenship at 954-321-4268 or the BSO non-emergency number at 954-764-HELP (4357).
Residents in Deerfield Beach and nearby communities, including northern Palm Beach County, should watch for someone matching the description and call BSO with any information. Detectives are asking the public to report tips directly to the numbers provided.
