Join Broward Sheriff Dr.Gregory Tony and the dedicated team at Broward Sheriff’s Office for an event this Saturday on April 5th in Oakland Park! Experience Operation Medicine. Shred A Thon from 10 a.m to 1 p.m at BSO Oakland Park District on 5399 North Dixie Highway as they continue their mission, to combat prescription drug abuse and protect against identity theft in our community. At the event the organizers will. Properly dispose of medications that are unused or expired as well as gather papers that might have confidential details for shredding purposes.. People who hand in their prescription medicines will get a $5 gift card until supplies run out.. However needles and sharp items will not be accepted.. Moreover each vehicle may bring up to two boxes for shredding..
