BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — The South Florida Strawberry Festival is scheduled for Jan. 17–19, 2026, returning to South County Regional Park in West Boca with rides, food vendors, inflatables, and family activities.

Organizers say the South Florida Strawberry Festival will run Saturday, Jan. 17 and Sunday, Jan. 18 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Monday, Jan. 19 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Monday schedule lands on the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, a day many students have off from school.

The event is planned for South County Regional Park, 12551 Glades Road, a large Palm Beach County park complex that regularly hosts festivals and regional events. For Boca-area families, it’s a familiar drive west—past the neighborhoods and shopping corridors along Glades—before the road opens up into the park’s entrance.

Organizers describe this as the festival’s fourth year in Boca Raton, produced by FOMO Festivals, a husband-and-wife team. In the event announcement, they point to more than a decade producing other South Florida events, including the South Florida Watermelon Festival, and say they are also behind a newer company, FOMO Bounce & Party Rentals.

The festival’s focus is simple: strawberries, and a lineup of activities built around them. “Our goal was to create an event that has something for everyone…from babies to empty nesters,” said Skyler Mendieta, identified in the announcement as Head of Brand & Experience. “A festival that is entertaining, taste bud satisfying, adrenaline-inducing…and the whole event centers around strawberries. You name it, we have it!”

On the food side, organizers are advertising strawberry desserts and treats, including strawberry shortcakes, cheesecakes, and “dubai chocolate covered strawberries,” along with additional local vendor food tents. They also plan a “Berry Big Bite Contest,” described as an eating contest tied to strawberries.

For entertainment, the announcement highlights the return of the America’s Got Talent Stunt Dog Show “by popular demand.” Beyond the show, the festival pitch is built around active attractions—rides, slides, bumper boats and bungee trampolines—along with multiple inflatable setups.

Organizers say themed inflatables will include the Berry Bonanza Adventure Maze, Strawberry Shortcake Bounce House, and Strawberry Playland. They’re also advertising a fenced-in “Strawberry Soft Play Area” aimed at younger children, plus a petting zoo for families who want something calmer between the louder ride areas.

A strawberry mascot is also part of the plan. Kids are expected to be able to meet and take photos with “Silly Sammy the Strawberry,” according to the event announcement.

For older kids, teens and adults, the organizers are advertising a golf simulator truck and game trailers, including derby and water race games. A pop-up shopping village is also planned, described as featuring American and international handmade items, decorative pieces for the home, and specialty foods.

In the announcement, organizers framed the event as a winter-season Florida celebration. “Florida is the #1 winter strawberry producer and we wanted to celebrate the wonderful weather we have here in South Florida in January with the South Florida Strawberry Festival,” said Skyler and Jay Mendieta, identified as Head of Brand & Experience and Head of Tech & Operations.

Ticket details promoted for the event include an advertised discount. The festival flyer states “Save $3 on entry,” and also advertises “$15 entry tickets with code SWEET26” for online purchases or by presenting the flyer at the box office.
