BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — Wildflower Park is getting another season of programming this spring, with the City of Boca Raton continuing its “Wildflower in Bloom” series and adding a new monthly food truck event along the Intracoastal Waterway.
The series is scheduled at Wildflower Park, 551 East Palmetto Park Road, and is being run through the City of Boca Raton Recreation Services Department. The city said the spring lineup builds on the program’s launch last fall and is meant to bring more regular activity to the park beyond passive recreation, including the following:
Weekly Wellness Programming
- Pilates – Saturdays at 9 a.m.
- Yoga – Sundays at 9 a.m.
- Bootcamp – Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m.
Monthly Event
- Food Truck Fridays – Last Friday of each month
- Starts: February 27
- Time: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Special Events
- Rec Pop-Up: Meet the Boca Raton Public Library – February 19 at 2 p.m.
- Plant Giveaways (courtesy of the Office of Sustainability) – April 10 at 11 a.m.

“Wildflower Park now features new activations that invite the community to gather and enjoy the space,” Deputy Recreation Services Director Tiffany Lucia said. “Through engaging programming, our goal is to create a place where residents feel connected, happy, and inspired to spend time together.”
For residents in Boca Raton and nearby areas, the schedule is straightforward: weekly wellness classes on set days, plus a handful of one-off events that are tied to city departments and citywide initiatives.
The weekly wellness programming includes Pilates on Saturdays at 9 a.m., Yoga on Sundays at 9 a.m., and Bootcamp on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. The city described the activities as options for “residents of all ages” who want a reason to get outside and meet neighbors, with the Intracoastal as the backdrop.
The headline addition this season is “Food Truck Fridays,” a new monthly event scheduled for the last Friday of each month, starting Feb. 27. The city’s announcement lists the hours as 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., positioning it as a lunchtime stop for locals, downtown workers, and visitors who want to spend time at the waterfront without planning a full day around it.
The spring calendar also includes a Rec Pop-Up event with the Boca Raton Public Library on Feb. 19 at 2 p.m., and a plant giveaway on April 10 at 11 a.m., which the city said will be provided courtesy of the Office of Sustainability.
Parking is part of the plan, too. The city noted that on-site parking at Wildflower Park is limited and urged people attending classes or events to consider alternatives, including walking, biking, parking nearby, or using the Boca Connect shuttle.
For people who haven’t been to the park recently, the city is also pitching Wildflower as a stop for public art. The announcement points to four Public Art Boca installations at or near the site, including the permanent return of the Mi Casa, Your Casa 2.0 swings that face the water, the Wildflower Park Centennial Legacy Mosaics on the restroom facility, Sunrise at South Beach Park Splash Pad, and A Place to Be murals located underneath the Palmetto Park Bridge.
The Recreation Services Department, which is overseeing the programming, manages a wide slate of city facilities and services across Boca Raton — including parks, community centers, aquatic facilities, golf courses, a nature center, libraries, tennis centers, fields and courts, beach parks, an amphitheater, and city-run units tied to park operations, ocean rescue, and public art programming.
