WEST PALM BEACH, FL — A 17-year-old passenger was killed Tuesday afternoon in a three-vehicle crash on Summit Boulevard in West Palm Beach, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash happened at about 1:33 p.m. June 2, 2026, in the 5500 block of Summit Boulevard. PBSO identified the teen who died as Aiden Hill, 17, of Palm Springs. The report lists the fatality time as 1:39 p.m.
According to PBSO, a 2021 Tesla Model 3 was traveling eastbound on Summit Boulevard in the left lane. A 2026 Mack dump truck was also eastbound and was in the right lane while occupying lanes 1 and 2 to begin a southbound turn down a canal bank to deliver materials. A 2001 GMC Yukon was traveling westbound on Summit Boulevard.
PBSO said the Tesla approached the dump truck, and the Tesla driver failed to slow sufficiently to avoid a collision. The front right of the Tesla struck the left rear of the Mack dump truck, according to the report.
After that impact, the Tesla was redirected north into the westbound travel lanes, where it struck the GMC Yukon, PBSO said.
The Tesla driver, identified by PBSO as Joseph Alfeo of West Palm Beach, suffered minor injuries. Hill, who was a passenger in the Tesla, suffered fatal injuries. The Mack dump truck driver, Ivan Carter of Delray Beach, was not injured, according to PBSO. The GMC Yukon driver, Phillip White of West Palm Beach, suffered minor injuries.
The provided PBSO report does not list criminal charges. The crash was documented by PBSO’s Traffic Division.
