Boca Post confirms that the closure is still scheduled for tonight – 2/4/22. Avoid 95 tonight during your late night valentines day travels.

Update – 2/11/22

FDOT has changed the start date. This closure is now scheduled for Monday – 2/14/22. As we originally reported, it was originally scheduled for to start on Thursday (2/17/22). If you will be driving late at night after valentines day, you should plan accordingly.

Original Story – 2/6/22

BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) — The Florida Department of Transportation tells us that all southbound lanes of I-95 will be closed at Yamato Road on Monday Night (2/14/22).

FDOT tells us that on Monday night (2/14/22), from 11pm to 5am, all Southbound lanes of I-95 at Yamato Road will be closed. All southbound traffic will be detoured via the I-95 southbound exit ramp to Yamato road, Jog road, and Glades road.

Monday (2/21) and Tuesday (2/22) have been designated as contingency nights if needed.

FHP will be on site to assist motorists.

This is another nightly closure required for overnight construction as part of the 95 Express Lanes Phase 3B-2 project. This project, when completed, will extend the Express lanes north from south of Glades road to south of Linton Boulevard.
