TAMARAC, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2024) — At approximately 3:29 p.m., Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to reports of a shooting near the 5600 block of Rock Island Road in Tamarac.

On scene, deputies located a child that had been shot. The child was pronounced deceased on scene. Detectives with BSO’s Crime Scene and Homicide Units are responding to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
