UPDATE

Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office tells Boca Post that the driver, Luis Paez, 22, of Miami, drove around stopped traffic and the safety gates where his Honda Civic was ‘decimated’ by the oncoming Brightline Train. Investigators say that the illegal actions of the driver, not the train, are to blame for this violent crash. Paez was said to have had ‘incapacitating’ injuries and was transported to St Mary’s Medical Center in critical condition.
