Bradley Loveridge Passed Away

POMPANO BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2023) — 30-year-old Bradley Loveridge of Delray Beach passed away after a high-speed motorcycle crash in Pompano Beach.

The Traffic Homicide Unit of the Broward Sheriffs Office is investigating a motorcycle accident that occurred this morning in Pompano Beach and resulted in the death of a man.

The incident took place at around 2 a.m. On August 22nd, 2023, near the 500 block of East Copans Road. Initial findings indicate that Bradley Loveridge was riding a 2018 Kawasaki Z900 motorcycle heading west on East Copans Road when he approached a section of the road.

According to investigators Loveridge couldn’t navigate the curve properly causing his motorcycle to veer off the road. The bike collided with a raised curb crossed over the center median and ended up in the lanes before tipping over onto its side.

Detectives report that during this sequence Loveridge was thrown from his motorcycle. As both he and his Kawasaki skidded across the road they collided with a metal guardrail situated along the side of the roadway. While Loveridge came to rest against the guardrail his two wheeled vehicle rebounded off it. Continued traveling in eastbound lanes until it eventually stopped.

BSO deputies and Pompano Beach Fire Rescue swiftly responded to the scene. Unfortunately pronounced Loveridge deceased upon arrival.

Authorities believe that excessive speed played a role in causing this accident. The investigation is ongoing.

Bradley’s obituary can be found here.
