BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) — A 22-year-old man from Delray Beach has been taken off life support days after being involved in a single-vehicle accident on Jog Road in western Delray Beach.

Daniel Logan McBride, 22, of Delray Beach, was the sole occupant and driver of a Honda Accord that PBSO says for “unknown reasons” drove up onto the median and collided with a traffic sign and a tree near the intersection of Jog Road near Oriole Blvd in Delray Beach at 8:30 PM on Tuesday, 4/26/22.

McBride was transported to Delray Medical Center as a trauma alert where he was later declared brain dead. McBride was taken off of life support at 4:13 PM on Saturday, 4/30/22.

Investigators from Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office have suggested that impairment may have been a contributing cause of the crash.
