DANIA BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2024) — Broward Sheriff’s Office is looking into a tragic incident that resulted in the death of a man in Dania Beach.

The crash took place on Saturday night near the 3900 block of Stirling Road. Christopha Germeil, who was riding a scooter, sustained fatal injuries after being hit by a car. Nodaimys Plutin Gonzalez, driving an Infiniti Q50, was identified as the other driver involved in the collision. The investigation is ongoing to determine the circumstances leading to this unfortunate event.

The scooter veered into the raised concrete divider, tipping over and skidding back into the lanes heading west until it came to a stop. Currently, speed and impairment are not believed to be factors in the accident. The investigation is ongoing.
