Freddy E. Sedeno Gonzalez, 60, Passed Away

ROYAL PALM BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2024) — A 60-year-old man has died after being involved in a motorcycle accident in Royal Palm Beach.

The deadly crash happened near US-441 and Erica Boulevard in Royal Palm Beach at 6:35 AM on  Sunday, March 10th, 2024.

Freddy E. Sedeno Gonzalez, 60, was driving a motorcycle northbound on SR 7 stopped for a red light waiting to turn west onto Erica Blvd. At the same time, Destiny Davis, 19, was driving a Toyota Corolla southbound on SR7 approaching the intersection.

According to deputies, it is unknown if the westbound traffic had a green arrow as the Northbound traffic signal turned green. As Gonzalez entered the intersection to make the westbound turn, Davis entered the intersection to continue south and collided with the motorcycle. Gonzalez was struck on the right side by Davis’ front bumper. Gonzalez was ejected from the motorcycle and was projected onto the sidewalk at the southwest corner of the intersection. Davis brought her Corolla to a controlled stop south of the collision.

Gonzalez was tranpsorted to St. Mary’s Medical Center where he was pronounced dead from injuries sustained in the collision.
