A couple from Pompano Beach experienced a costly incident after their dinner outing. They were ambushed when they returned home and robbed of items valued at over $44,000.
On the evening of Monday, October 30th, Broward Sheriff’s Office Robbery Unit detectives were called to respond to an armed robbery at a residence in the 2600 block of Northeast Sixth Street in Pompano Beach. According to the investigation, the husband and wife arrived home after dinner and opened their garage door. As they entered the garage, the husband was surprised by an individual holding a gun. The victim described the person as depicted in the composite sketch provided. Wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black track pants. The assailant demanded their belongings.
The criminal took two iPhones, a Rolex watch and a purse containing a wallet with credit cards. Afterward, he fled towards North Federal Highway in a waiting black sedan traveling westbound.
