POMPANO BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2024) — BSO responded to a shooting in Pompano Beach to find one deceased victim.

At 8 a.m. on Wednesday, January 10th, 2024 , Broward County Regional Communications received a report of a shooting in the vicinity of the 1300 block on Northeast Fourth Street in Pompano Beach.

Deputies from the Broward Sheriff’s Office promptly arrived at the scene and engaged with both the victim and an adult individual. Tragically, the victim was pronounced dead at the location, while the individual was taken into custody for further questioning.

The BSO homicide detectives have been notified and are currently conducting an investigation, which is still ongoing.
