POMPANO BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2024) — BSO detectives are looking into the drowning incident involving a two year old child, in Pompano Beach.
Around noon on Thursday afternoon of October 10th Broward Regional Communications was contacted about a drowning incident at a residence situated in Northeast First Avenues 1600 block, in Pompano Beach area. Upon receiving this information both BSO deputies and Pompano Beach Fire Rescue teams promptly arrived at the location. The deputies were informed that it was victims mother who discovered her child unconscious in the pool. Acting swiftly family members pulled out the child from water. Commenced CPR efforts until deputies took charge of resuscitation procedures. Subsequently paramedics rushed the child to a medical facility where unfortunately she was pronounced dead.
BSOs Homicide and Crime Scene teams arrived at the location. Detectives are looking into the details of what happened there.
Currently there is no suspicion of any play occurring at this moment.
