Two Young Men Arrested On Multiple Felonies After BSO Finds Them Driving Stolen Vehicle

POMPANO BEACH, FL (Boca Post) — Late on Wednesday night, BSO was alerted to and tracked a stolen Porsche Macan in Pompano Beach which led to the arrest of two young men and recovery of many guns.

BSO was alerted to a 2021 Porsche Macan, stolen out of Miramar, in Pompano Beach. The vehicle was observed by a deputy near West Atlantic Blvd and Cypress Road and was then tracked by BSO aviation to a residence at 101 NW 30th Ave.

Both occupants of the abandoned the vehicle and fled in to the home. One of the suspects was observed throwing a firearm on to the roof of an neighbors house.

BSO executed a perimeter and were able to safely apprehend both suspects. Adolph Giunta, 21, and Jamaal Sims, 18, were both apprehended without incident. Giunta was found to be in possession of a Glock 17 handgun with a 30 round magazine. The firearm that Sims threw on the roof was a fully loaded Glock 19 handgun with 1 round in the chamber and another 9 rounds in the magazine.

Deputies found a fully loaded AR-15 style rifle in the vehicle as well.

Both suspects were arrested and are now facing some serious charges including:

  • Grand theft auto
  • Commission Of A 3rd degree felony with a weapon
  • Carrying concealed firearm
  • Tampering with evidence
  • Trespass of a convenance
