UPDATE – I-95 Closure Tonight

As previously reported by Boca Post, FDOT will be closing all northbound lanes of I-95 from Glades Road to Yamato Road in Boca Raton tonight and tomorrow night.

The closures will begin at 11 PM through 5 AM on both nights.

Luckily, the closures come after the additional labor day traffic, still, if you are planning on traveling north tonight or tomorrow night, use the Turnpike. Alternatively, a detour around this closed segment of I-95 is pictured above.

FHP will be on-site to assist motorists both tonight and tomorrow night.

BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) — Following the labor day holiday, I-95 northbound will be closed at Glades road overnight, learn more.

The Florida Department of Transportation tells Boca Post that I-95 northbound at Glades road will be closed overnight both Tuesday and Wednesday of next week.

FDOT says I-95 northbound at SR-808/Glades Road will be closed overnight, 11 p.m., until 5 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 6 for overhead sign structure installation.

During this closure, motorists will be detoured via the I-95 northbound exit to SR-808/ Glades Road, US-1/Federal Highway, and SR-794/Yamato Road. Wednesday night, Sept. 7 will be used as a contingency if needed.

FHP will be on site to assist motorists.
