Man Arrested For Sexual Battery Of Woman In Parkland Home

PARKLAND, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2023) — 54-year-old Antonio Doll was arrested for the violent attack and sexual assault of a woman in her Parkland home.

The Special Victims Unit detectives of the Broward Sheriff’s Office have apprehended a man named Antonio Doll for sexually assaulting a woman in Parkland, as per the investigators.

According to the victim’s statement to the BSO SVU detectives, she returned home from work around 4;15 p.m. On Monday, October 23. As she entered the family room, an unknown man struck her and forcefully pushed her onto the floor.

Initial investigations have revealed that using a sharp object, the assailant compelled the victim into a bedroom where he sexually assaulted her. Shortly afterward, he rummaged through her belongings and stole some personal items before fleeing from the area.

Through meticulous detective work and following various investigative leads, detectives were able to identify Antonio Doll as the suspect. On Friday, October 27, Doll was located in Miami and subsequently taken into custody. He is now facing multiple charges including sexual battery by threat of force, kidnapping and false imprisonment, sexual assault, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and armed burglary.

The investigation leading to Doll’s arrest was made possible through collaborative efforts between BSO SVU unit personnel along with support from Crime Scene Unit members, BSO Parkland District officers, Violence Intervention Proactive Enforcement Response (VIPER) team participants, Burglary Apprehension Team (BAT) members and BSO Robbery Unit detectives.
