Reba Cooley of Greenacres passes away after the deadly accident. Luis Gonzalez-Ibarra is seriously injured.

GREENACRES, FL (Boca Post) — A deadly accident near Green Acres Bowl at Lake Worth Road and Woodlake Blvd claims the life of an 80-year-old woman who died in the hospital this morning after last night’s crash.

According to PBSO traffic homicide investigators, a Honda CR-V that was driven by 80-year-old Reba Cooley was hit by a Suburban driven by

Reba Cooley, 80, of Greenacres, made a left turn in the path of a Chevrolet Suburban driven by 33-year-old Luis Gonzalez-Ibarra. The impact forced the ejection of Gonzalez-Ibarra as it is reported he was not wearing his seatbelt.

Cooley was transported to a local hospital where she died this morning. Gonzalez-Ibarra is still said to be in serious condition.

PBSO has not indicated that speed or drugs/alcohol are contributing factors in this crash.
