GREENACRES, FL — A 22-year-old motorcyclist died after a crash Sunday evening, June 7, 2026, on South Jog Road at Parkside Green Drive in Greenacres, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

PBSO identified the motorcyclist as Jahime Wright. The crash happened at about 7:36 p.m., and Wright was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:44 p.m. by Palm Beach County Fire Rescue, according to the report. Next of kin has been notified.

According to PBSO investigators, Wright was riding a 2004 Suzuki GSXR 600 northbound on South Jog Road at a high rate of speed as he approached Parkside Green Drive.

At the same time, Rosana Hernandez-Teran was driving a 2021 Honda CR-V southbound on South Jog Road and making a left turn onto Parkside Green Drive, the crash report states.

As the Honda crossed South Jog Road, the front of the Suzuki struck the right front of the Honda, investigators said. The impact caused the Honda to rotate and come to rest facing northbound.

PBSO said a 2022 Nissan Sentra driven by Sophia Veliz was stopped at the stop sign on Parkside Green Drive, facing westbound. After the first impact, the Suzuki struck the driver’s door of the Nissan before coming to rest facing westbound.

Wright was ejected from the Suzuki and came to rest on a sidewalk north of the impact area, according to the report. The report lists Wright as wearing a helmet.

Hernandez-Teran and a passenger in the Honda, Maria Teran-Franco, suffered minor injuries, according to PBSO. Veliz was not injured.

The crash was documented by PBSO’s Traffic Division. The provided report did not list any charges or identify the crash as a hit-and-run.
