Suspect Wanted For Theft Running Over Manager At Ace Hardware

GREENACRES, FL (Boca Post) — A suspect stole $800 worth of tools from Ace Hardware on Forest Hill Boulevard and then hit the manager with his vehicle when fleeing the scene.

From Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office:

Suspect Wanted for Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon.

An unknown male entered Ace Hardware and helped himself to over $ 800 worth of tools then walked out of the store and began loading the unpaid merchandise into the back seat of his vehicle. The manager followed the suspect out of the store and attempted to get his license plate number when the suspect struck the manager with his vehicle as he was attempting to flee.

This incident occurred on May 18, 2022. Ace Hardware is located in the 6700 block of Forest Hill Blvd, Greenacres.

It is unclear if the suspect needed the tools for work.
