Joshua McElhenney Arrested For 1st Degree Murder

LAKE PARK, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2023) — PBSO arrested the suspect they say shot and killed a man in Lake Park on Sunday evening.

According to PBSO, the suspect was located and taken into custody in Miami-Dade with the assistance of Miami-Dade SWAT. The suspect, identified as 44-year-old Joshua McElhenney, is accused of shooting a man to death in a Lake Park home on Sunday evening.

A spokesperson with the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office tells us that McElhenney fled the scene before deputies arrived on the 800 block of Jasmine Drive in Lake Park.

McElhenney will be extradited to Palm Beach County where he faces a 1st degree murder charge.
