Gaylynne Crist Thomas Obituary

Gaylynne Crist (Thomas) of Loxahatchee, 73, passed away on Monday, March 6th, 2023, in Wellington, FL after a battle with an aggressive form of cancer. Gaylynne was predeceased by her mother (Thelma Thomas) who she spent years taking care of. Gaylynne is survived by her husband Keith Maltby, siblings, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, whom she loved.

Gaylynne was born in Cleveland, Ohio but lived most of her life in South Florida. While Gaylynne did not have any children of her own, she loved her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews like they were her very own.

In the summer of 2022, Gaylynne was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer. Her battle with cancer led to several health complications which eventually ended her beautiful life. Gaylynne will be missed by her family and friends, but her memory will live on forever.

  1. I have so many memories from my childhood that involve my Aunt Gaye. I’m sorry we lost touch as I got older. My thoughts are with her Keith.
