OAKLAND PARK, FL (Boca Post) — Broward Sheriff’s Office Gang Investigations Task Force has arrested a man they say has been selling large amounts of firearms and narcotics to local gang members throughout Broward County.

Broward Sheriff’s Office tells Boca Post that Brett Valley, 24, of Oakland Park, has been arrested on several drug charges including armed trafficking of oxycodone and the sale, manufacture, distribution, or delivery of Cannabis.

Valley was arrested following an investigation that started earlier this year after detectives received information about what Valley has been doing. BSO utilizes undercover operatives and built a case against him. Multiple search warrants were executed on Wednesday, May 4th, 2022.

As a result of the executed search warrants, detectives were able to recover more than 3 dozen firearms and drugs including oxycodone, cocaine, ecstasy, cannabis, and other narcotics.

BSO says this was a multi-agency joint operation that involved The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and Homeland Security Investigations.
