UPDATE – 4/18/22

BSO has confirmed that Andre Anglin, the suspect wanted for the double homicide in North Lauderdale on 4/13/22, has been found dead. Investigators say Anglin died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The BSO Homicide Unit is conducting a death investigation at the Circle K near 901 W Sunrise Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale.

BSO Sheriff Gregory Tony says I’m very proud of the excellent work conducted by our investigators and VIPER unit. They located and tracked down a menace to society. Unfortunately, this coward decided to take his own life rather than face justice for the heinous murders he committed,”.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit is conducting a death investigation at 901 W. Sunrise Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale. The deceased male has been positively identified as Andre Anglin, the suspect in the North Lauderdale double homicide that occurred on April 13. The preliminary investigation reveals Anglin died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at the above location. No one else was injured. The Broward County Medical Examiner’s Office will officially determine the cause and manner of death.

Broward Sheriff’s Office has identified 34-year-old Andre Anglin as a suspect in the murder of a teenage girl and a woman in North Lauderdale. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating Andre Anglin. According to detectives, an arrest warrant has been issued for Anglin’s arrest after a woman and teenage girl were found shot to death in North Lauderdale Wednesday, April 13.
The incident occurred shortly after 9 a.m. Broward Regional Communications received a shooting call near the 7900 block of Tam Oshanter Boulevard in North Lauderdale. BSO deputies and North Lauderdale Fire Rescue were notified to respond. On scene, emergency crews located two females that had been shot. The victims died on scene.
Preliminary investigation revealed Anglin was involved in the shooting of both victims. Detectives say they do not have a last known address for the suspect, but he frequents the Margate area.
Investigators urge anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact Homicide Detective John Curcio at 954-321-4212. At approximately 9:10 a.m., Broward Regional Communications received a shooting call near the 7900 block of Tam Oshanter Boulevard in North Lauderdale. Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies and North Lauderdale Fire Rescue responded. Homicide and crime scene detectives are on scene currently investigating this active incident.
