BROWARD COUNTY, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — BSO homicide detectives are investigating a murder after a shooting reported Saturday night in North Lauderdale.
Broward County Regional Communications received a report of a shooting shortly before 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, in the 6500 block of Harbour Road, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
BSO deputies and North Lauderdale Fire Rescue responded to the scene. Deputies found an adult male who had been shot. BSO identified the victim as Isaiah Coney.
Coney was airlifted to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced deceased, BSO said.
BSO’s Homicide Unit and Crime Scene Unit responded and took over the investigation. The agency is asking anyone with information to contact BSO Detective Kevin Nitsch at 954-321-4876 or submit a tip through the SaferWatch app.
