NORTH LAUDERDALE, FL (Boca Post) — A pedestrian was killed while crossing US-441 mid-block near 1500 US-441 in North Lauderale at 11PM on March 30th, 2022.

Broward Sheriff’s Office says that the driver of a Honda Accord, 31 year old Sheldon Nelson, of Lauderdale Lakes, was traveling northbound on US-441 when he struck the pedestrian who walked in to the Honda’s path.

The pedestrian was transported to Broward Health Medical Center by Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue where he was pronounced dead.

Nelson is said to be cooperative with the investigation that BSO is calling ongoing.
