Man Struck, Killed By Car In Pompano Beach

POMPANO BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2025) — A man is dead after a car crash in Pompano Beach.

BSO Traffic Homicide Unit detectives received word of a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian at approximately 10:51 a.m. on Tuesday, March 4, near the 2700 block of North Course Drive in Pompano Beach.

It was initially determined that the driver, Brandon Ken’Yatta Baez, 25, was behind the wheel of a 2020 Dodge Charger that was traveling southbound on Northwest 27th Avenue and turned left onto North Course Drive, crashing into Greco who was in the roadway.

Pompano Beach Fire Rescue provided assistance and took Greco to Broward Health North Medical Center, where he was declared dead. The driver stayed on the scene and helped with the investigation.

The investigation is ongoing.
