DELRAY BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2025) — The City of Delray Beach will host its Hospitality Career Fair again because of previous success and they want residents to arrive prepared to meet employers who need staff for restaurants and hotels and tourism businesses.

The career fair takes place from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Tuesday December 3rd at the Vintage Gym located inside Old School Square at 51 N Swinton Ave. The city announced the event’s return through a Thursday afternoon statement which aims to connect local job seekers with established Atlantic Avenue and Palm Beach County businesses. The event accepts all candidates who wish to work in hospitality or begin their hospitality career.

The city stated in its announcement that the event will enable residents to discover various hospitality career options and access training programs which enable them to begin their professional journey.

The event will help participants find different hospitality careers and training programs which lead to their professional start.

The event will feature multiple employers who will attend the event.

The participating companies maintain multiple well-known establishments throughout Delray Beach and Boca Raton and West Palm Beach and Las Olas.The event materials indicate that Opal Grand and Kolter Hospitality and Aloft Hotels and MRG (Modern Restaurant Group) and Delray Sands Resort and City Oyster and City Cellar and Il Capri and Elisabetta’s and Grease Burger Bar and Big City Tavern and Louie Bossi’s and Barrio and Rocco’s Tacos and Big Time Restaurant Group will attend the event. The event will feature city partners who will provide career advice and details about educational pathways which lead to professional growth.

The participating organizations will provide details about their job readiness programs and hospitality training and short-term industry-specific certificates.The event partners include CareerSource Palm Beach County and the Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority and Palm Beach State College and Florida Atlantic University and the Greater Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce. All participants must register with the city before the upcoming event.

The city scheduled this second event to match the current hiring needs of hotels and restaurants which continue to post job openings.The first career fair attracted participants who included both job candidates and students and people seeking additional employment. Users can access the registration link through the announcement which leads them to forms.office.com.The event lets people meet hiring managers who will review their resumes and offer education partner support when needed. The city received reports from multiple previous career fair attendees that their organizations started hiring right away and set up interviews for the following day.

The Vintage Gym at Old School Square serves as the venue for this event which hosts city events and public programs. The downtown area provides visitors with simple parking options to access Swinton Avenue for walking exploration during late morning hours.

All participants need to register for the event before the scheduled date.
