Boca Raton Police tell Boca Post that Dean returned home safely and has been reunited with his family. Officers say the 18-year-old, who had been reported missing on December 2, is no longer considered endangered. Thank you to everyone who helped share the alert.

BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2025) — Boca Raton Police are asking for the public’s help finding an 18-year-old boy reported missing since Tuesday afternoon and considered endangered due to his autism.

Police say Dean Corrigan was last seen along the 1500 block of NW 13th Avenue around 3:30 p.m. on December 2, according to a public notice shared by the department. He was riding a red BMX bike and wearing a black shirt and black pants when he was last spotted.

Officers said the search began after his family reported he hadn’t returned home. The department labeled the case “missing and endangered,” a designation that typically triggers additional urgency as patrol units, community service officers, and nearby agencies check parks, residential cut-throughs, and bike paths.

It is unclear why Boca Raton Police have not yet requested FDLE issue a Purple Alert or when the the 18-year-old was reported missing to Police.

According to police:

Boca Raton Police are looking for 18-year-old Dean Corrigan who was last seen along the 1500 block of NW 13th Avenue around 3:30 p.m. on December 2nd. Dean has autism, and was last seen on a red BMX bike, wearing a black shirt and black pants.
