BROWARD COUNTY, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s help locating a missing 48-year-old woman who was last seen in Lauderdale Lakes.
BSO said Yolene Theodate was last seen around 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, in the 3200 block of Northwest 34th Court in Lauderdale Lakes.
Detectives described Theodate as having black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue shirt and pants with a floral print design.
According to the person who reported her missing, Theodate experiences mental illness.
BSO is handling the investigation and is asking anyone with information about Theodate’s whereabouts to contact BSO Detective Leonard Charla at 954-321-4274.
Information can also be reported through the BSO non-emergency number at 954-764-HELP (4357).
What happens next depends on tips coming in and any new sightings. Residents who think they may have seen Theodate, or who have information that could help locate her, are being asked to call BSO and share what they know.
