Lawsuit – Palm Beach County Man Sues School District After Being Hit By Bus

LAKE WORTH, FL (Boca Post) — A Palm Beach County man is suing the School District of Palm Beach County for damages after being involved in a vehicle accident with a school bus in 2019.

According to the lawsuit recently filed in Palm Beach County, Sohaib Bhatti was driving his vehicle when he was struck by a bus near Panther Run Elementary School in Lake Worth on October 30th, 2019.

According to the lawsuit, the school bus, driven by Mortange Lormeran, a school bus driver at the district, failed to stop causing a significant collision involving the vehicle operated by Bhatti.

According to the suit, Bhatti was injured and continues to suffer from the accident caused by the negligence of the school bus driver.

The lawsuit seeks damages to compensate Bhatti for his suffering, disability, disfigurement, mental anguish, loss of capacity for the enjoyment of life, hospitalization, medical and nursing care, treatment, cost, and expense of rehabilitation. The lawsuit also seeks damages related to the aggravation of a preexisting condition, loss of earnings, loss of ability to earn money, physical pain, and suffering, mental pain and anguish, inconvenience, and scarring.
