28-Year-Old Alexander Collins Passed Away

LAUDERDALE LAKES, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2023) — 28-year-old Alexander Collins of Lauderhill passed away after after a deadly motorcycle crash.

The deadly crash happened near West Oakland Park Boulevard in Lauderdale Lakes on August 13th, 2023.

According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, Collins was traveling eastbound on a GSX-R600K when he slammed into a Chevrolet Suburban that was turning left onto NW 33rd Ave. Collins hit the truck and was then ejected into the vehicle.

The impact caused the truck to rotate clockwise before coming to a rest.

BSO deputies responded and found Collins deceased at the scene. Investigators say that while the other drive was cooperative, the circumstances surrounding the crash are still under investigation.
