Phillip J. Pepe Jr. Arrested

LAKE WORTH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2023) — BSO, PBSO, and US Marshal’s Service found and arrested Philip J. Pepe Jr. in Lake Worth for stealing a car with a kid in it on June 17th in Oakland Park.

According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, deputies have located and arrested the man who stole a car with a kid in it. Deputies say that Philip J. Pepe Jr. stole a minivan outside of an IHOP in Oakland Park. on Saturday, June 17th, 2023. A woman exited the restaurant to find her minivan, with a young boy inside of it, was stolen. Pepe abandoned the van where the kid was found safe. Pepe was nowhere to be found.

Deputies say that they were able to locate Pepe and arrested him on Thursday, June 22nd, 2023.

Pepe is being held at the BSO jail while facing the following charges:

  • Kidnapping
  • False imprisonment
  • Grand theft auto
