Jupiter Crash Kills 25-Year-Old Palm Beach Gardens Man

A 25-year-old driver was killed after his vehicle veered off Pratt Whitney Road in Jupiter and struck multiple trees, investigators say.

Driver Killed After Car Leaves Pratt Whitney Road, Strikes Trees in Jupiter

JUPITER, FL — A fatal single-vehicle crash in Jupiter left one man dead after his car left the roadway and struck multiple trees along Pratt Whitney Road, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators say the crash happened in the 1500 block of Pratt Whitney Road, where a 2025 Volkswagen Jetta was traveling westbound in the through travel lane. For undetermined reasons, the driver continued straight as the road curved to the right, driving onto the grassy shoulder. The vehicle’s front and driver-side then collided with several trees, coming to an uncontrolled final rest.

The driver, identified as Chase Harris Cole, was the sole occupant of the vehicle. He was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. According to investigators, Cole was pronounced deceased on scene by Palm Beach County Fire Rescue at 9:46 p.m.

The crash remains under investigation by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Division. Investigator Juan Pinzon is assigned to the case. No additional details about contributing factors have been released.
