JUPITER, FL (Boca Post) — The Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office tells Boca Post that they are investigating an accident involving a fatality after a vehicle struck a pedestrian walking along Beeline Highway in Jupiter.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office tells Boca Post that at approximately 8:03 PM on Saturday, October 15th, 2022, deputies responded to the intersection of Beeline Highway and Indiantown Road in Jupiter, in reference to a vehicle versus pedestrian accident.

Responding PBSO district deputies and Palm Beach County Fire Rescue located a pedestrian deceased at the scene. According to officials, the pedestrian, whose next of kin has not yet been notified, was struck by a vehicle while walking along Beeline Highway.

Investigators say the pedestrian was operating a vehicle that was called out as a possible impaired driver driving northwest on Beeline Highway. Just south of the intersection with Indiantown Rd.
