Deadly Crash: 21-Year-Old Crashes Truck, Killed In Jupiter Farms

JUPITER FARMS, FL – Boca Post (BocaPost.com) — The Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office tells Boca Post that they are investigating an accident involving a fatality after a truck hits a pig and then crashed into some trees in Jupiter Farms.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office tells Boca Post that at approximately 11:18 PM on Sunday, September 4th, 2022, deputies responded to the 16700 block of Indiantown Road in Jupiter, in reference to a motorcycle versus vehicle accident.

Responding PBSO district deputies and Palm Beach County Fire Rescue located the driver of an F250, identified as Walter Vandiver, 21, of Jupiter Farms, deceased at the scene.

Investigators say Vandiver was heading eastbound on Indiantown Rd. within the only eastbound lane. While eastbound, a pig ran into the roadway, causing Vandiver to strike it. After impacting the pig, Vandiver veered off the roadway to the south and struck some trees.

Deputies say that 21-year-old Walter Vandiver was pronounced deceased while on scene.
