2 Children, 1 Adult Male Drown In A Hollywood Backyard Pool

HOLLYWOOD, FL (Boca Post) — A 5-year-old, a 2-year-old, and an adult male are all deceased after a pool drowning on Highland Drive in Hollywood on Thursday afternoon.

Hollywood Police Department tells Boca Post that on Thursday, February 24th, 2022, at approximately 3:33 PM, officers responded to the residence at 733 South Highland Drive in reference to a pool drowning call.

Responding Hollywood PD officers immediately initiated CPR on all 3 victims while waiting for Hollywood Fire Rescue to respond. Hollywood Fire Rescue then arrived and transported all 3 victims to Memorial Regional Hospital where they were later pronounced deceased.

Hollywood PD tells us that no foul play is suspected at this time but that this is still a very active investigation. It is reported that the mother found her husband and two children in the pool shortly before calling 911.
