WEST PALM BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — A single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning left one man dead in West Palm Beach, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
The wreck happened around 1:35 a.m. near the intersection of Haverhill Road and Cresthaven Boulevard. Investigators say a 2017 Honda Accord was traveling northbound on Haverhill Road in the outside lane at a high rate of speed as it approached Cresthaven Boulevard.
As the roadway curved to the left, the driver failed to negotiate the curve and drove off the roadway onto the grassy shoulder, according to the sheriff’s office. The vehicle continued northbound off the roadway and struck a concrete barrier wall.
Investigators say the Honda then mounted the concrete barrier and overturned, coming to a final rest at the scene.
The driver, identified by PBSO as 38-year-old Angel Felipe Rojas Gabriel of Palm Springs, sustained fatal injuries. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. No other vehicles were involved.
Next of kin has been notified, authorities said.
The crash remains under investigation by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Division.
Serious and fatal traffic crashes, along with resulting roadway disruptions, are documented by Boca Post as cases develop.
